Welcome to The Herk House

Based on lodging offerings such as The Aviator Palace and the PIT Crash Pad in San Antonio for pilots heading to AETC Instructor School, The Herk House is meant to offer home style living to TDY aircrew going to C-130 J School, Legacy School, Aircraft Commander or Instructor upgrade training.

I know you have a choice in your lodging when coming to The Rock. You could stay on base at the Razorback Inn which offers a fine Air Force Inn experience. But, who wants to stay in a hotel room for 6 months or longer depending on your school? The Herk House offers the best blend of home style living, guest house amenities and hotel services all for the base lodging rate or less.

As an aircrew member myself, I've stayed in long term lodging while going to school. When I heard of places like The Aviator Palace, I wished I had known of them beforehand. A couple of my bros stayed at them and had a great time. When I got to Little Rock, I knew it needed a place where new pilots, navs, engs, & loads could come and stay and feel like they got a little more for their TDY lodging entitlement than just a hotel room. Raised as a southern Christian, I've attempted to set up the house as an attractive traditional alternative to hotel living. Check out The Herk House's amenities to see what is offered!
